Abuelita Valerie Marquez, often referred simply as Abuela or Soledad, is Dora's paternal grandmother. She often is an enabler and foil to Dora and is often seen during the grounded scenes. She, alongside Gina, are among Dora's most targeted victims.
Appearance[]
While Abuela's appearance in videos vary, she is most often depicted as an old and obese Mexican woman with a yellow dress and pink high heels. Videos that feature "accurate" designs often depict Abuela closer to her canon counterpart, with her sporting a pink apron and is less obese.
Personality[]
Abuela is a very strict, impolite, and apathetic person, often being just a violent as Elena and will not hesitate to punish Dora. Abuela strongly dislikes it when people fat shame her, and would ground people who dares to do so.

- While she has been consistently been Dora's grandmother, either Elena or Cole may be depicted as her child.
- In the actual show, she is Cole's mother.
- Similar to Elena and Cole, prior to Dora and the Lost City of Gold, GoAnimators often made her real name Soledad or Catherine, named after her text-to-speech voices.
