- The majority of the family members have the same middle name as the characters from The Rescuers. Jessica's middle name is from The Fox and the Hound (the character being Vixey), thus making her the only family member having the same name as a character from The Fox and the Hound. It's possible that she may have been adopted since her first born parents (who are now deceased) have the same middle names as characters from The Fox and the Hound.
- Blanche (who is the oldest) is actually a younger version of Jessica Lane's version of Ellie Mae in Comedy World form with her skin color altered so that she matches with her parents and Abbey.
- Terri's first husband may have been an African American due to Tally being one.
- Tyler is Tally's step-father because Terri got married to him 3 years after her first husband's death, leaving Terri a widow for 2 years.
- Tally has the same middle name as Penny.
- Terri has the same middle name as Madame Medusa. Due to that, she was the target of bullying when she was a very young girl.
- The next time Terri has a child, she planned to name him Tom, with his middle name being Bernard.
- Blanche has the same middle name as Miss Bianca.

- Tyler's middle name was deprived from Brutus and Nero's names. Because of his middle name being Nero, he was the target of bullying.
