Business Friendly is a theme by Vyond, that was introduced on March 1, 2012 for "GoAnimate for Business", originally as a theme with characters without custom characters, before they were later added.
The customizable assets were possibly developed using Space Citizens as a base (or the other way around) as Tom's body parts (the character that once was represented as Jack Paul) can be found inside some of the character assets.
It is one of the default themes for Vyond, and the most used theme to still be around, after the old themes (including Comedy World) were retired on January 4, 2016 for the original Vyond/GoAnimate website. Alongside Whiteboard Animation and Common Craft (partially), Business Friendly is the only original theme to be HTML5-compatible and get added on the Vyond Studio player.
Reception[]
In general, Business Friendly has garnered a rather mixed reception. People grew to loath the theme in 2016, not only for being the most preferred theme to Vyond/GoAnimate, but for not having custom-able body parts, like with some retired old themes. Some people grew to tolerate Business Friendly, due to its having a lot more body movements than Comedy World and for the style being passable, and being something more original than Comedy World. Some even preferred this theme over Comedy World for those mentioned reasons. The hatred grew a bit more in 2019, after the Legacy Player was retired, since it was the only theme (alongside Whiteboard Animation) to be on the new player, where as all of the other old themes were only accessible on the old retired Flash Legacy Player, and are inaccessible through the HTML5 Vyond Studio player. This led to backlash against Alvin Hung, despite Vyond replacing the CEO with Gary Lipkowitz.

- Business Friendly is one of two themes to still remain on Vyond, the other ones being Whiteboard Animation.
- The theme has received a strong use on Grounded Videos after Comedy World retired.
- The pre-Vyond Studio version can still be used on Wrapper: Offline, but this theme has been removed by the official Wrapper: Offline developer due to FlashThemes receiving a cease-and-desist letter from Vyond. However, one can still download the files for this theme from a GitHub repository containing GoAnimate's official assets.
