Gilbert Anderson (born November 13, 1994) is a pet cat owned by Caillou and his family. In many videos, he often acts like a servant to Caillou, and thus, makes him the only family member to side with him, much to the disdain of Boris.
Appearance[]
In earlier videos, Gilbert was often depicted using the Business Friendly gray cat prop, which depicted it as a gray cat with a white belly. Other videos used the cat character from the Cartoon Classics theme, which is a more feminine looking cat depicted with white fur, blue eyes, and a red collar with two bells.
In other appearances, Gilbert is depicted as an anthropomorphic Lil' Peepz character and resembles more closely to his canon counterpart, a gray cat with a blue birthmark, red nose, an orange collar, and black stripes.
Personality[]
Gilbert is typically depicted as a snarky cat that often follows Caillou's orders, though not always. Whenever he gets caught on Caillou's schemes, he often blames Caillou for the cause. Despite this, Gilbert is a nice individual and is often the only member of Caillou's family who isn't a jerk.
Most earlier videos depicted him as in ordinary pet of the Caillou family and thus, only communicates with meowing, though his family can understand what he is saying. In later videos, Gilbert is shown to be a talking cat will often speak to his family.
