GoAnimate Central was a Discord server owned by Fartnoise9 that had over 2,800 users before its closure in January 2020. It was the main center for the GoAnimate community to, play, joke and have fun with other GoAnimators and viewers. It's official successor is GoAnimate City.
History
Over course of it's history, GoAnimate Central was hosted in three different Discord servers.
First Server (2018)
The first server was created on June 1st, 2018 and quickly became a success, as the GoAnimate Community was rapidly moving from Google Hangouts on to Discord for its main space to connect with other GoAnimators. Big-name GoAnimators were joining every week, including 1Redbed, Kaneedian, GoTube and RareYellowWUUTBee.
Originally, all popular GoAnimators were given the Administrator permission, allowing them to change the server with impunity. However, GoTube criticized this practice by revealing its security vulnerabilities, and convinced Fartnoise9 to instead hire a dedicated staff team. GoTube was promoted to Co-owner and began to develop the server with Fartnoise9. RareYelloWUUTBee was also hired as a Co-owner.
In late 2018, GoTube proposed a major new reform that gave the server a "city-like" theme, changing the server name from GoAnimate Central to GoAnimate Central City. This was intended to create a greater sense of community among members and foster greater activity within the server. One notable change was the introduction a server economy and jobs, where members could take on "jobs," earn income and buy items from a shop. The user response to this was extremely negative.
Second Server (2018-2019)
In late 2018, Fartnoise9 closed down the first GoAnimate Central server and opened a new one, which dropped the city theme. It did not grow nearly as large or active as the first server, stagnating at about 700 members. Despite said stagnation, it generally remained steady activity-wise with a dedicated member-base.
On April 5th, 2019, the server was raided and the security of the server was compromised. Administrator privileges were granted to all members in the server, causing nearly every channel to get deleted and the server to be destroyed beyond repair. Fartnoise9 deleted the server on the same day.
Third Server (2019-2020)
After the deletion of the second server, the third server was created the following day.
The third inception of GoAnimate Central was by far the most active and advanced of the three. Daily events, an economy, contests, an influencer system, and many more features were introduced. It was widely advertised by almost all major GoAnimators, and became the definitive hub for the GoAnimate Community.
After months of rapid growth and major activity, on January 1st, 2020, the server was officially closed. Fartnoise9 cited the shutdown of the Legacy Video Maker and his retirement from the GoAnimate Community as the reasoning for it's closing. The server closed with over 2,800 members, far surpassing both the first and second servers.
On it's first anniversary of being closed, in 2021, Fartnoise9 re-opened the server for view-only, allowing members to view their own or other's memories.

Trivia Tuesday - The host will ask some questions and the person who manages to survive the longest wins

Workaholic Wednesday - The $work command payout is increased from 2-8PM PST (5-11PM EST)
Thursday:
Anarchy Economy - the $slut and $crime command payouts are increased from 2-8PM PST (5-11PM EST)
Friday:
Movie Night Friday - Moderator Kris allows users to vote for a movie, and then it is shown to other users
LFIAY - Users submit content based on a theme, winners are chosen every Friday (Last Friday I Asked You)
Saturday:
GoGame Saturday - The server comes together to play Roblox or Minecraft, and do a whole sort of activities
Sunday:
Skribbl Sunday - A match of skribbl.io is hosted and users guess what the drawer is drawing
