The Animation Studio (Referred to by the community as the "Legacy Video Maker") was a Vyond Video Creator, created circa 2007, and released in 2008 along with Vyond itself.

Retirement[]
On December 19, 2019, the Animation Studio was retired. The first phase of this process took place on August 14, 2019, when all user accounts were defaulted to Vyond Studio. The Animation Studio and all videos made with it became available for migration to Vyond Studio after it was retired.[1]
On February 12, 2020, The Original Legacy API servers were taken down, meaning that all of the legacy videos put onto the website became lost.
Recovery[]
Over the years, the video maker found a resurgance through both GoAnimate Wrapper and FlashThemes.
