Lil' Peepz (theme ID "action") was a legacy theme on Vyond introduced around 2010. Like the other legacy themes, it was discontinued on July 6, 2016 during Vyond's transition to HTML5. Before its discontinuation, it was considered to be the most popular theme on the website. Comedy World and Business Friendly soon surpassed it.
Design[]
The character design in Lil' Peepz are vastly different from other themes. Lil' Peepz characters are short and lack limbs, which makes it easier to animate actions for. Because they have no arms, legs, and a neck, they have often been compared to the video game character Rayman, who lacks all previously mentioned limbs, however this similarity was likely unintentional, and the theme was more likely based on puppets[1] and street culture.
The theme has many more actions compared to it's earlier contemporary Comedy World, and this is because while Comedy World used a system involving components that were hand animated, Lil' Peepz used a new rigging system (dubbed internally freeaction) which allowed actions to be created without having to create hundreds of new frames for every clothing item. Past Lil' Peepz, every other characer creator-enabled theme would use rigging instead of component animations. Lil' Peepz was also the first theme to use Action Packs, a feature which allowed users to purchase new actions as they were added.
